Verdict

DISPOL DIVA sluiced up by no less than 17 lengths in soft ground at Musselburgh a week ago. She'll have to race off a much higher mark in the future and, with today's penalty negated by an apprentice, Paul Midgley's C&D winner is hard to oppose. Dean Iarracht is a multiple C&D winner and should figure on that basis though his last three victories have come in amateur races while the locally-trained Carlitos Spirit has been in fine form over hurdles of late and he's not out of this. Avison is still open to improvement and Maybeme scored here before a poor effort over a longer trip at Doncaster last time.
