In depth

Verdict

Austrian Theory won over a longer trip at Epsom last week and drops down a grade while On The River is upped in class having landed a hat-trick on slow ground. THE COOKSTOWN CAFU missed out on a treble when runner-up at Thirsk but by less than a length and Kevin Ryan’s charge gets another chance in this. Maywake looks to be treading water off his current mark after placing again when third at York while Manigordo disappointed when sent off favourite at Musselburgh last week.
