Verdict
Hard to see a strong Irish challenge not taking the prize home. Dual pointing winner, Gorthill, landed a maiden hunters chase on Rules debut last month and looks the best of the McCaldin duo with the booking of Aidan Coleman an eye-catcher. However, he's yet to tackle hurdles in public and the two penalised contenders should prove hard to overcome. Fiveonefive was clearly 'expected' when backed into favouritism at Tipperary and always looked in control. He now steps up in trip and looks the main threat to AN MHI who has no stamina questions to answer. The Walk In The Park gelding scored with plenty in hand at Ballinrobe in a manner suggesting there's progress to deliver. Ballymagee has been operating in points and Izzy Bell is an each-way option for the home team.
