Verdict

Not the strongest of maidens and newcomer GRAND DUCHY is suggested. The Medicean colt looks to be the pick of the Godolphin pair on jockey bookings and is related to both fast ground lover Cape Cross and a dual sprint winner in France. Mahmood Al Zarooni's juveniles have been in cracking form and we will side with him. Stablemate Freehand was unfancied and last on debut and may take more than that one start to get fully into the groove, so a better bet looks to be Menadati. David Lanigan's charge is improving and will be no easybeat. Tmaam is worth a market check but will come on for this and Grand Duchy is preferred.
