Verdict
Caracara made an impressive debut at Ascot and should face a simple task as she bids to get off the mark here; of the newcomers, Day To Remember and Heselrig make most appeal. Caracara showed plenty of promise on her debut, making much of the running before just being collared by Fantastic View. She ran very green that day, looks to have plenty of scope and in all likelihood will face an easier task today. Alec Stewart saddles a couple of newcomers, and although jockey bookings suggest that Cellarmaster may be the pick, the apprentice-ridden Day To Remember holds a Derby entry and this Daylami colt may just provide the forecast value. Tim Easterby's Heselrig is a gelding by Entrepreneur who is worth noting in the market, but Caracara will be a tough nut to crack here and we fully expect her to provide Mark Johnston with yet another two-year-old win.
