        Verdict

        City Legend just fended off the challenge of VERRAZANO over the C&D last week but a penalty hands the initiative to the runner-up and she can go one better. Hugely Exciting has been racing in France and returned with a fair run at Wolverhampton though he looks a few pounds high at present. Philharmonic Hall reappeared with a fair run over 6f at Catterick which will have done him good and Lady Gar Gar is expected to do better this year after a promising juvenile campaign that saw her successful at Redcar. The ultra-consistent Eilean Mor can't be ruled out though she generally manages to find one or two too good.
