        Verdict

        Vintage Clarets started favourite for the Brocklesby but was too green to do himself justice. He’ll know more today, however, and has an inside draw so will be fancied recoup losses. Kenyan Commander looks held but Honorah wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Bath and a couple of newcomers catch the eye on breeding. Kodebreaker is a half-brother to four winners up to 7f and BEAUZON’s full sister made a winning debut over course and distance and his breeding is all speed, though he’ll have to break smartly from stall 10.
