In depth

Verdict

Granny Peel has found her level at this grade and is taken to win again with Spinning Game and Baytown Paikea rated the main dangers. The selection has won her last two starts, latterly in a claimer on a softish surface at Leicester but Kevin Ryan's filly showed when winning at Redcar in April that today's conditions hold no fears and she has an obvious chance of winning again. Elizabeth Garrett has to be of interest taking a drop in class and cannot be discounted, while Best Woman has failed to progress as much as may have been anticipated and is probably best watched. Spinning Game has claims on a line through Tokyo Jo but may not as effective on this ground, while Baytown Paikea has solid form in this grade and has to be respected in receipt of weight. Granny Peel has an obvious chance though and she gets the vote to win again.
