        Verdict

        Lees Anthem has been raised further in the weights despite not winning after a second at Thirsk and blinkers are applied for the first time today. Pull The Pin and Major Muscari could have been better drawn. The latter has a bit to find with Spoken Words on their running over track and trip last month when John Riches' charge was beaten only a head. But HAZARD WARNING finally showed some improvement for his slide down the weights when beaten less than a length by Cadeaux Pearl over course and distance last time and it could be his turn again today.
