In depth

Verdict

Duke of Touraine should take all the beating in this handicap and we will side with Pat Haslam's 3-year-old to get the better of Candle Sahara and The Last Bottle. The selection travelled well for a long way before fading close home at Southwell last time. He will be suited by the return to the turf and from a good draw he can resume winning ways. Candle Sahara is a lightly-raced filly and she was entitled to need the run last time out when she was a little disappointing, so she may be capable of a better effort today. The Last Bottle ran really well in a nursery last time out and he will not need to improve much to get competitive today. Caltire also arrives here in good form and from a good draw he is another to consider. A competitive handicap that can go the way of Duke Of Touraine.
