      Verdict

This represents a drop in class for Thunder Canyon, who will have the experienced Paul Goode aboard. He does stay further than this, but these apprentice races are normally run at a furious pace and that should suit him. Vermilion Creek does have a little ability, but is not one to rely on, while Portacasa comes from the in form Richard Fahey's yard and she should not be far away.
