Verdict

Paul Hanagan made all on LANGHOLM over the course and distance last month, his mount coming home with his head in his chest. A 7lb rise makes this more difficult but a double looks on the cards. Northern Lyte, who was over 3l behind in third and staying on, will be 3lb better off after returning here for a comfortable victory earlier this month. Brutalab looked ready to lose his maiden tag when a close third over slightly further at Carlisle but appeared to find a mile too short at Hamilton so this should be his trip. George Mallory hasn't been showing much though in slightly better grade while Smeaton has done better on ground with some give.
