In depth

Verdict

Northernpowerhouse and Northern Lass are newcomers of note with preference for the former but there are a couple with form in the book who make greater appeal unless the market speaks very strongly in favour of the Smart colt or Fahey filly. It took plenty of time for the penny to drop with DIAMONIQUE on her Pontefract debut but she came home in some style. She seems sure to come on a bundle and is narrowly preferred to Salmon Fishing. The latter improved significantly from a debut run to come home third at Thirsk after making the running. Likely to repeat those tactics, he's a leading contender as he should be spot-on and streetwise after two starts.
