      In depth

      Verdict

It could pay to stick with ADDIS ABABA in the opener. David O’Meara’s charge won over today’s trip at Ayr before finding one too good under a penalty at the same track last time. Perisher disappointed at Haydock last month but Sweet Lady Rose showed progress when runner-up at Chepstow to the Haggas-trained Cosmic Love. The latter runs Extra Large, a modest fourth at Chelsmford on his debut and expected to finish closer today along with Rise Hall.
