In depth

Verdict

RODDY showed potential last summer and made a very promising reappearance at Redcar when conceding 19lb to the winner and not beaten far. Le Maharajah attempted to make all at Windsor and only succumbed inside the final furlong though this is a stiffer track. The Night Porter looked in need of this sort of trip when staying on at one pace behind Alrahaal at the last meeting here but Croque Monsieur has only shown moderate form and may have to wait for a handicap.
