A wide open handicap and a narrow vote is given to Colorous, Babyshambles and Royal Composer could provide most danger. The selection tends to save his best form for Ripon but did go well here last season off a slightly higher mark. He likes to be up with the pace and should be capable of being involved early from his high draw. Babyshambles finished clear of Colous when winning at Ripon in April. However the selection swerved badly at the start and in the end did well to within five lengths at the line. Royal Composer comes into the argument on the pick of last season's form which includes a victory over course and distance.
