Barnum gained his only career success on this track in July and though that was a seller it wasn't much worse than this. Diamond Sunrise made all to lose her maiden tag in an apprentice event over a mile here last week and escapes a penalty while OBARA D'AVRIL won a similar event to this over the C&D in July under Carly Frater and would have been feeling the effects when running poorly three days later. She has been given a break and may be good enough in a very tricky finale. Carlitos Spirit often runs well here though invariably over shorter while Rose Aurora is one of her yard's lesser lights and is probably better over further.
