Verdict
An interesting maiden, with several of the big yards represented. Newcomers Spinning Lady, from the yard who won this last year and the beautifully bred Katandi, must both be respected. Maimana, showed last year that she is capable of winning a small race, but she may find this too competitive. If the blinkers work the oracle on Tanaji, we need look no further for the winner. She was never going after missing the break at Chester, and she is better judged on her debut at Newmarket in a hot maiden. The runner-up in that event, Sundrenched, went on to win a Listed race, so the form looks solid. The one to take advantage if the blinkers fail will be Robe Chinoise, who finished runner-up in a handicap off a mark of 78.
