Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Imperialistic, Wistman, Wavertree Girl and Man of Letters and the vote goes to Wistman. The selection did well to win on his debut from a bad draw when defeating Rangoon. He is sure to have come on for the run and this well bred colt is expected top win here before going on to better things. Imperialistic rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Red Lancer but he will find it hard to give weight and a beating to the unexposed Wistman. Wavertree Girl is another that could go well she likes the ground and is open to improvement but her best form to date is on the AW and for that reason she is opposed. Man Of Letters was a fair third behind City Palace last time but will need to improve on that effort to win this off this mark. Of the remainder Royal Distant is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Wistman.
