Verdict

BONFIRE KNIGHT can produce the fireworks with Hacienda and Elusive Sue the potential party poopers. John Quinn's inmate was a gritty juvenile and if he has trained on, he does not look to be off a difficult mark. Hacienda dotted up at Wolverhampton on debut. The market suggested on the day that the magnitude of that performance was not expected. Elusive Sue was fully entitled to win her maiden at Haydock having taken on better opposition in the past. Excellent Day is surprisingly sent up in trip having obliged over the flying five at Sandown. On breeding, Silver Symphony should not be unduly troubled by the extra yardage. A race likely to produce plenty of future winners but for today, Bonfire Knight ticks all of the right boxes.
