Verdict
Dapper Man escapes a penalty for a recent success at Ripon but failed to land the odds when runner-up at Pontefract earlier in the week. Paul Midgley trained the winner of that race and runs three in this including Nibras Again, who went close drawn on the inside rail here recently but is drawn out wide today. Stablemate BUNIANN has yet to win in six starts on Turf but can race off a lower mark than when successful at Newcastle last month so he gets the vote to reverse earlier running on the all-weather with Debawtry. The latter also scored at Newcastle in February while Star Prize returns to action back on a winning mark.
