Verdict

Mr Coalville's rider dislocated his shoulder at the furlong pole here last week and was unable to give assistance so his mount did well to hold on for second behind what looked a smart winner. Dark Moon Rising looked the type to benefit greatly from his debut at York and should be a different proposition but Hugo Palmer doesn't send many horses here so the newcomer POWER OF BEAUTY, a close relative of five winners up to a mile, is taken to make a successful debut. Subjective Value is also related to plenty of winners and is another to keep an eye on along with the 60,000gns filly Ribaldry.
