Verdict

A tricky opener in which most appear to have decent claims, though Jordan Sport was a shade disappointing at Sandown after a close-up third over this track and trip on his debut. Teba Mateba ran his best race so far at Musselburgh last month while Rio's Cliffs has also shown ability. Tafteesh should improve on his third at Thirsk but MEDIA WORLD is equally unexposed and wasn't beaten far by better-fancied rivals over further here last month - he can open his account today. Deodoro has an interesting pedigree and shouldn't be ignored if attracting market support.
