      Verdict

Dubai Celebration has won three times at Wolverhampton since November and gone up 18lb as a consequence. Spin Cast is just 2lb higher than when successful at Carlisle in August but it's GENIUS BOY who looks the one to be on. He was beaten 9l when runner-up to Hit The Jackpot here last month and didn't stay the extra two furlongs at Thirsk but he had Maybeme and Saint Thomas behind on this track and looks to have every chance. The latter was engaged at Pontefract last night while Thankyou Very Much needed his comeback and ended the last campaign with a victory at Kempton. The rain has come at the right time for Artful Prince, who was in superb form last summer on ground with some give and hasn't been set too stiff a task in the weights.
