In depth

Verdict

Spiceupyourlife has been lightly raced and tackles this trip for the first time but her pedigree suggests she'll be suited and she can be forgiven her recent run at Chester. Sleipner has generally been showing good pace on Polytrack but will find this track very different unlike Jacbequick, who produced a 40/1 shock in a heavy ground maiden here last week. Tarrafal has been disappointing and Penina didn't run particularly well at Musselburgh though that was her first start since November. SOOQAAN stepped up to a mile for his handicap debut at Thirsk a couple of weeks ago and came with a late burst to snatch the spoils. He's only been raised 3lb and will have no problems over this extended 7f so looks the one to be on.
