In depth

Verdict

Another wide open affair but a chance is taken on Eaton he landed a gamble in good style when defeating Noble Cyrano at Pontefract last time out with a little in hand and he is taken to defy his penalty from a good draw. Michaels Dream was a good winner here over a longer trip last time out but the drop down in trip again is not sure to suit. East Cape has been in good form all season but ran as if in the handicappers grip last time out and his best form is with cut in the ground. Some Will was a good second behind Basinet last time out and again has conditions in his favour but his wide draw has done him no favours. Future Coup won lower grade races earlier in the season but has been struggling off this sort of mark of late while Westgate Run has two ways of running and is better with more cut in the ground. Dee Pee Tee Cee is thrown in on his old form but again the draw has been unkind to him.
