Verdict

Motafaawit opened with a victory at Leicester in June and ended with a very good run in a lucrative conditions' event at Chelmsford in September. He could be smart and is definitely on the shortlist. JAMES WATT began his career with a double before twice running well at Ascot. He ended the campaign with a cracking effort in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar and should win races this summer. Nefarious had no problems making a successful handicap debut at Wolverhampton in January but steps up a grade here while King Of Tonga would be suited by further rain as last summer's victory at Redcar came on good to soft ground. None of the remaining trio can be disregarded in a tricky handicap.
