Verdict
Great Dame has been competing in Pattern company without success and should find life easier now handicapping. But HARRY LOVE (NAP) defied a penalty to beat a subsequent winner in fine style in a novices race over course and distance last month and Ollie Pears’ charge gets the vote on that form. Proper Beau is another handicap debutant and may improve on his second start after wind surgery while Bushtucker Trial won a lower grade handicap at Newbury last week and is upped 3lb but Tom Tulliver’s earlier success at Yarmouth came in soft going.
