Verdict

Three-years-olds don't have a great recent record in this but that age group looks to have serious contenders in this year's renewal. Est Que Love began this season in fine form, landing a double back in April, and this is easier than her recent tasks in Pattern company. However, despite having a bit to find on today's terms, FREE ZONE makes more appeal. He scored in fast ground over C&D in June and has been running well without success in Listed and Group 3 races since. He won't be concerned if the rains arrive and is preferred to Tax Free, who has gone off the boil since winning at York last month with Ponty Acclaim back in seventh. The latter is weighted to reverse running and should figure if the ground remains on the fast side but Burning Thread and Kool Henry look up against it at the weights.
