Verdict
London Express, Formal Decree and Noble Gent are the three to consider for this lucrative prize and London Express gets the vote. Noble Gent is clearly a progressive type and won in game fashion at newmarket. The Godolphin team are going well and he must have a great chance. Formal Decree has a similar profile and handles cut in the ground. The form looks solid and despite climbing the handicap Formal Decree has to be seriously considered. London Express had been running well on faster ground than he likes before scoring at York. He may have only won narrowly but he hit the front a long way out and won gamely. Despite his six pound penalty London Express can appreciate the ground conditions and followup.
