Verdict
This is a competitive contest to open the card and the vote is given to Bachnagairn, with Dee Cee Elle and Chip N Pin also considered. The selection ran well last time at Bath when finishing second behind Lapina and with this step-up in trip liKely to suit and his yard in decent form he looks the percentage call. Dee Cee Elle has enjoyed a good winning run but that came to an end when she was well beaten at Nottingham. The handicapper may now have her measure and she looks opposable on that basis. Chip N Pin finished in mid-division in a competitive race at Thirsk last time but this step-up in trip should play to her strengths and she is another worthy of some consideration. Sonara has got some solid form and is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Bachnagairn.
