Verdict

Club Wexford was a decent enough handicapper for Jim Bolger and Roger Fell has taken advantage of a falling handicap mark. Whether the seven-year-old can overcome a 6lb penalty for last week's Ayr victory is another matter as this looks quite a tough handicap. Waarif was staying on stoutly over this trip at Thirsk and this uphill climb to the finish will play to his strengths while Michele Strogoff was in the lead at this trip at Nottingham but couldn't hold off Scottish Summit, who was receiving 7lb. Tim Easterby is having a terrific run and VIVE LA DIFFERENCE has run really well since joining the yard from France. He finally put it all together at Hamilton and with just an extra 4lb can keep up the yard's good run.
