Verdict

Ground Zero has failed to build on a promising debut behind the useful Checkit, but this step up in trip may bring about improvement. Russian Relation holds no fancy entries, but is still worthy of respect, while Cranshaws, a half-brother to middle-distance winners Carioca Dream and Penshiel, will be more at home over this trip, rather than the sharp six-furlongs he faced on his debut at Lingfield. Falcon On The Hill, all at sea round the sharp Catterick track, will appreciate this stiffer test here and can make the frame.
