      Verdict

This looks just as tricky as the first division, but with La Mondotte, we have a horse in good heart and proven over the trip, albeit on the fibresand at Southwell. Aviero, in good form on the all-weather through the winter, is better treated on turf and would not be without a chance, while Golden Rod would not appear that well handicapped, but does have a useful claimer aboard to take 7lb off. Lost Spirit, reunited with George Baker, the combination successful five times, will ensure there is no hanging around, but he is on a long losing run. Latensaani, the winner of a ladies race over course and distance, should again have the measure of Mysterium on these terms.
