Verdict

An interesting start to proceedings as a few of these two-year-olds might be capable of going on to better things. Raj To Riches is looking a little exposed but boasts a decent level of form. Auxiliary started favourite on his debut at Leicester and his stable is in terrific form but there should be plenty more to come from WELFORD. Mark Johnston's Dubawi colt was easy to back at Goodwood but showed good speed until the closing stages and finished ahead of the more-experienced Captainthunderbolt. He'll know more today and is preferred to the nicely-bred newcomers Cross Examine and Mirage.
