In depth

Verdict

Plenty with recent course and distance wins to their name but Surround Sound was raised 10lb for winning an amateurs' race here and Teide Peak has struggled off a higher mark since scoring here in April. Oly' Roccs was upped only 2lb for his earlier win but even that has proved beyond him and Snow Dancer has failed to figure since her victory here in March. But MY ANCHOR (NAP) won here in April and went close again off today's mark last week. An apprentice's 5lb claim could swing things his way in this and he gets the vote.
