Crystal Tribe had only shown moderate form in maidens before making a successful handicap debut on Polytrack at Lingfield where he came with a late surge to win with a bit in hand. A 4lb rise looks manageable though he may not be capable of conceding 3lb to OSHO (NAP). Richard Hannon's colt, a half-brother to six winners, showed some potential in his first season and was well supported on his return at Newmarket where he stayed on strongly to finish second over a mile, conceding a stone to the winner. Garrison Commander has twice been beaten a long way when tackling 1m4f but did better over this trip at Leicester in May when Four Mile Bridge was well beaten. Circle Of Stars hails from a yard in top form and could be capable of better than he's shown to date.
