Verdict

A winner at Goodwood last week, Two Blondes sets the standard with a mark of 77 but one of the less exposed types is preferred. The fact Sir Mark Prescott sent MISS CELESTIAL over to France for a Group 3 race last time suggests she may prove good enough back at this level and the latter gets the vote. Shellbrook finished a bit closer at Newmarket last time without threatening while Island Jungle also represents Godolphin and the newcomer cost 200,000gns. Alkaamel showed no progress stepped up to 7f at Newmarket and finished down the field along with Shining Torch but Tony Chestnut wasn’t beaten that far when fifth on his debut and could go well.
