Verdict
Razzano should do better back over a mile today but has yet to prove that he handles this ground and preference is for Doctor Ned, with Martinet rated the pick of the remainder. The selection ran creditably in a handicap on soft ground at Warwick last time and a reproduction of that form may well suffice for Neville Callaghan's gelding. Franky'n'jonny would probably want the ground to be faster, while Kiss Chase has given little sign of encouragement so far. Martinet is difficult to weigh up but could be of interest dropping onto this class; however, Doctor Ned has solid claims and he gets the vote.
