Verdict

An interesting and open seller where Turner's Touch, Special Cuvee, Bussell Along are amongst those that feature on the short-list but the tentative suggestion is PENNFIELD PIRATE. The gelding is clearly no star having already contested a claimer and a seller in just five starts but Hughie Morrison has a good strike rate here and boasts a level stakes profit in excess of a hundred pounds. The form of his latest start gives him claims and he may prove capable of going close at a price. Market support for Special Cuvee on debut for Alison Thorpe with William Buick in the plate would be respected whilst it would be no surprise to see High Holborn nibbled at in the market or Turner's Touch for Gary and Ryan Moore. Bussell Along could make the frame but may find that this trip just stretches her but it shouldn't prove to be a problem for either Noah Jameel or the consistent Spinning Waters but a tricky call goes to Pennfield Pirate.
