      Verdict

      NEWTON'S LAW was due to be dropped 3lb before resuming winning ways at Bath so his penalty is effectively halved. Jordan Uys again takes off 7lb and Brian Meehan's gelding can score again. Monumental Man is still more than capable of making an impression in a race like this and makes more appeal than fellow veteran Time Medicean. Whitecrest never figured at Windsor on Monday and Rainbow Orse was beaten off a lower mark at Doncaster last month. More Spice was second here in May but remains 5lb higher.
