Verdict

ESSPEEGEE ran the in-form Contingency Fee to a neck here last month and the winner went on to score again at Bath off a 5lb higher mark – Joseph Parr’s eight-year-old is the one to beat in this grade. Blinkers failed to bring about any improvement in Temur Khan at bath and are replaced here by a hood while Seagulls Nest wore cheekpieces when an improved third at Windsor but the aids are absent today.
