      Verdict

Shamshon makes a quick reappearance with 4lb extra after a hard-fought win over 5f here on Wednesday. SIR OLIVER only beat Kendergarten Kop by a nose here in June and is 3lb worse off but he surpassed that effort with a fifth in a Class 2 at Chelmsford last month and a return to familiar territory will suit. Tin Hat also likes it here and the handicapper is starting to release his grip on Endowed. Tyger Bay hasn’t done a lot wrong since beating Wednesday’s winner Holbache here in June and a return to 6f will help York runner-up Pagan, though he may not be entirely straightforward.
