Verdict

HIKMA gained an all-the-way victory at Beverley last month then went to Lingfield on an incredible 20lb higher mark. Not surprisingly she failed to fire and she didn't look entirely straightforward but she's much better handicapped back on Turf and will take some beating. Thecornishcowboy has yet to score but came here with a favourite's chance a month ago though once again couldn't quicken and tries a longer trip. Critical Point won at Yarmouth and was a well-backed favourite to follow-up at Chepstow but he pulled too hard on ground much softer than he would have liked and deserves another chance. Panettone looks too high in the weights and the remainder will need to improve to get involved.
