    Verdict

Glasgow Central finally came good at the 22nd attempt when outbattling Sexy Secret on the Lingfield polytrack last month and could well go close again having got off the mark. Nevertheless, IFAN was well supported when driven out to score here last month over course and distance, his second success at this venue, and is taken to follow-up here as he escapes a penalty for that recent apprentice race success. Mitch Goodwin retains the ride and is good value for his claim and the Vaughan team is now in much better form. Solveig's Song hasn't been performing too badly on the all-weather this year, including a Kempton success on her penultimate start, and looks next best off her unchanged mark.
