In depth

Verdict

ROY ROCKET has been raised a further 2lb since narrowly failing to land the hat-trick over a longer trip at Lingfield but he's clearly at the top of his game and has already won twice on this switchback track this year. John Berry's charge gets the nod again as last week's Lingfield second Cabuchon is on a 26-race losing run while the handicapper appears to have a grip on Sandy Cove. Senor George has a poor strike-rate and is probably better over shorter trips while Norman's Star has to carry more than his allotted weight but Spiceupyourlife is starting to look well treated.
