    Verdict

    Uncle Dick was staying on when third at Salisbury last Thursday having won here earlier when Free Step was only fifth. He should be thereabouts again while Goose Rock beat the maiden Coloane over a longer trip at Lingfield two runs ago. BUY THE DIP hasn’t won on Turf yet but hasn’t been beaten far the last twice off this mark and this looks a good opportunity to put the record straight.
