Verdict

Kyogo was third at Killarney in July but tailed off on a return visit and gets cheekpieces today. A winner twice on the all-weather at Newcastle last year, Lord Sam's Castle placed on his hurdling debut at Aintree in June but will need to take a big step forward to prevent DOCTOR NIGHTINGALE (NAP), who has shown a fair degree of ability over timber so far, from adding to Gordon Elliott’s impressive tally here. Ironopolis, a winner on the Flat at Southwell earlier this year, looks the pick of the newcomers.
