        Verdict

        LETHAL ANGEL went into many notebooks last Monday when appearing unlucky in-running and Brett Johnson’s mare looks sure to be priced accordingly by the layers. She had earlier beaten King Crimson in a classified event when giving weight away and should confirm that form. Sparked wasn’t far away when tried under forcing tactics at Windsor while Moveonup won over course and distance in June with both Arzaak and Hot Hot Hot in behind. Jack Ryan fared well in a recent handicap on Southwell’s Tapeta and cannot be ruled out at longer odds.
