Verdict

Glasson Lodge is proving frustrating to follow but is given one more chance to get her head in front where it counts, General Nuisance and Piddies Pride may provide most danger. The David Evans trained filly was well supported last time but was hampered soon after the start, but made up a tremendous amount of ground in the closing stages to finish a close second behind Straffan at Bath. With no such mishaps today she looks to have very strong claims. General Nuisance started life in this company, but has also acquitted himself well in better grades and must be in the firing line. Piddies Pride may do best of the others, Ian Wood's filly has contested some better races during the season, including maidens at Doncaster and Goodwood, she drops down to selling company for the first time and has to be in with a shout. So not many runners but a very competitive affair where Glasson Lodge is just preferred.
